Return Policy
At JB Hudson our goal is to provide outstanding service to our customers. We stand behind every item we sell. If you are in any way dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return it.

All returns are inspected upon receipt for signs of wear. No refunds, exchanges or credits will be issued for merchandise that is not in pristine condition. Refunds will be in the original form of payment; we will either issue you a check or a credit will appear on your credit card bill. Gift recipients are entitled to a nonrefundable merchandise credit.

To Make A Return

New undamaged merchandise purchased from JB Hudson that has not been special ordered, worn, sized or otherwise used may be returned for a refund, credit or exchange, providing the following conditions are met:

  • Merchandise must be returned (or exchanged) within 30 days of purchase.
  • Merchandise must be returned in its original packaging
  • Merchandise must be accompanied by the proof of purchase, appraisal and diamond certificate

Return Shipping Instructions

All returned merchandise must show a Return For Inspection Number (RFI) clearly marked on the outside of the package. An RFI may be obtained from our Customer Service Department. Please call Toll free 1-800-444-4431 (9AM-5PM CST). Ship merchandise prepaid and insured for the full purchase price against loss in transit. We recommend that you ship via an established and trackable carrier, such as UPS or Federal Express.

Our Warranties

SECTION I – FULL LIFETIME WARRANTY

JB Hudson guarantees that genuine center natural diamonds meet the high standards for color grading and clarity as set forth by JB Hudson Manufacturing.  Mountings furnished by JB Hudson are made in 14K, 18K Gold, Platinum or Palladium.
The setting is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship and the materials used fully comply with U.S. Government standards. JB Hudson will repair or replace any defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year at no charge.

SECTION II – FULL LIFETIME REPLACEMENT

JB Hudson guarantees all natural diamonds against loss from the setting. Barring misuse and fault of the wearer in his/her lifetime, providing the setting is inspected by an authorized JB Hudson Jeweler every 6 months, and will be replaced with the same quality and size as the original natural diamonds. (FREE inspection recorded on reverse side of guarantee.)  Necessary repairs must be made by JB Hudson at purchaser’s expense. Mounting must not have been subjected to damage, accident or unusual abuse. Any claim must be accompanied by this guarantee. Failure to adhere to this schedule voids the Lifetime Guarantee portion of this guarantee.  *Lab-created diamonds are not eligible for full lifetime replacement.

SECTION III – FULL LIFETIME TRADE-IN VALUE

JB Hudson guarantees the value of any loose natural diamond you choose to trade up. When you select a new natural diamond priced at least twice the value of your original purchase, you’ll receive the full original purchase price as credit toward your upgrade. And if your natural diamond’s value has increased since your purchase, we’ll honor that appreciated value — for life.  *Lab-created diamonds are not eligible for trade-up value.


SECTION IV

JB Hudson will clean, polish and inspect the item(s) covered by this guarantee at any time at no charge.  JB Hudson at time of purchase will issue an insurance letter fully describing the merchandise purchased and its current replacement value. This service will be provided at no charge.
